Dr. MillerDr. Phyllis E. Miller, MD

Dr. Miller has been practicing medicine since 1975. She is a founding member of WISH. She started in an OB-GYN private practice after earning her Bachelor of Science from Tennessee Tech University and her medical degree from the UT-Memphis Medical School. She did her residencies at Baptist Hospital in Memphis and Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, and served as president of the Chattanooga Hamilton County Medical Society and the Medical Foundation.  She also served as Chief of the medical staff at Erlanger Hospital and currently serves on the board of Erlanger Hospital and Hospice of Chattanooga.  She was inducted into the Polk County Hall of fame and is board certified in OB-GYN and a fellow of the American College of OB-GYNs.


Dr. BoltonDr. James P. Bolton, MD

Dr. Bolton is a graduate of the University Of South Alabama College Of Medicine. Following a transitional internship, he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Erlanger Medical Center. He has been in private practice in the Chattanooga area since 1989, and joined Dr. Charles Portera's practice in 1991. Dr. Bolton is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Bolton's practice is devoted to obstetrics & gynecology.


Dr.ReevesDr. Emily J. Reeves, MD

A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Reeves is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She did her internship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at MCP Hahnemann University School of Medicine/Tenet Health Systems in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also Board Certified. Dr. Reeves practices both obstetrics and gynecology. When she arrived in Chattanooga, Dr. Reeves sought to become a part of the greater community, first with activities through the alumni chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and now with membership in the Chattanooga (TN) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated and the Greater Chattanooga Mother's Group. With her husband, Collin Douglas, CW3 US Army (Ret.), and her son, Carlton, she also enjoys time with her family, travel and trying out international cuisine.


Dr.FewDr. Tiffany P. Few, MD

Obstetrics and Gynecology

Special Interest: Low and High Risk Pregnancies, Adolescent Gynecology, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Menopause, Irregular Bleeding
Dr. Few attended Spelman College, where she received a BS in Biology, as well as studied biomedical science and performed research under the National Institute of Health. Her specialties were reproductive endocrinology, drug abuse, and HIV. She earned her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine, and worked in private practice upon graduation for almost four years before moving to Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Few specializes in low and high risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology, polycystic ovarian syndrome, irregular bleeding, and menopause.
Her medical interests stem from her own experience with high risk obstetrics and loss, and she enjoys helping patients through challenging pregnancies to create families. Her philosophy of care comes from the concept that no part of the body is isolated, and she treats the whole patient-- mind, body, and spirit. When not at work, she enjoys scrapbooking, card making, writing poetry, drawing, traveling and shopping, and spending time with her son Jaylen and husband Dr. Walter L. Few III, a Chattanooga native and cardiologist.


Dr. PorteraDr. J. Chris Portera, MD

Dr. Portera has 22 years experience in medicine and has been with WISH since 1997. He studied biology at Ole Miss, where he earned a Bachelor of Science n 1984. He received his MD from Albany Medical College and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.
Since joining WISH, Dr. Portera has become a proud member of the Chattanooga community. He, his wife and their twins live on Signal Mountain, and they enjoy golf, hunting, fishing, and sports. In addition to his work at WISH, Dr. Portera serves as Director of the Continence Center at Memorial Hospital. His specialty focus both there and at WISH is on difficult surgical problems including incontinence and vaginal prolapse, in addition to a wider range of medical care.

Dr. HobgoodDr. Donna K. Hobgood, MD

Dr. Hobgood is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. Following a rotating internship, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Erlanger Medical Center. She has been in private practice in Chattanooga since 1988. Dr. Hobgood is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.  Dr. Hobgood practices both obstetrics and gynecology. She is active in family, community and professional leadership.
